Chef Gianluca Paris

Gianluca Paris is the owner and chef of Luca's Mediterranean Café and The Market at Luca's in Keene, New Hampshire, where he lives with his wife and two children. Luca, as he is known to everyone, was born in Italy and had a dream of opening his own restaurant since starting as a busboy at a family style Irish pub in New York at the age of 14. A graduate of Johnson & Wales, Luca and his team have been showered with accolades ever since they opened -"Excellence in Dining" "Best Service" "Best Mediterranean Restaurant" "Best Restaurant" "Best Caterer." He has his own weekly talk radio show, "What's Cooking with Luca" and has been a featured Chef in the national culinary magazine, Culinary Trends. He has been a guest lecturer at Keene State College, produced a DVD cookbook and is the host of his own cooking show, titled "A Culinary Journey with Luca Paris."

Obviously, a busy guy, Luca rubs shoulders with celebrities, hosting Paul Newman at his restaurant and planning menus for and serving Stevie Wonder and his family. His cuisine reflects flavors from the Mediterranean - Italy, France, Spain as well as Greece, Turkey and North Africa.
